Celebrated fishmonger Mr. Scruff is in control of the hot-plates while 1983’s Cheese Merchant of the Year Treva Whateva is on hand with finely chopped sound bites and a sprinkling of chatter. Both graduates of the prestigious Ninja Tune School of cookery, this pair know a thing or two about tasty tracks and will be serving up a range of dishes, from much loved classics to the very latest in cutting-edge aural cuisine. Celebrity guest chefs from past kitchens have included: RJD2 & Mr. Lif (Def Jux), Amy Winehouse, The Rebirth (Kajmere LA), Gilles Peterson (Worldwide, Radio 1), Roots Manuva, The Quantic Soul Orchestra, Seiji (Bugz In The Attic), Patrick Forge (Da Lata), Phil Asher (Restless Souls, Reel People), Qool DJ Marv (Giant Steps NYC), The Nextmen (Scenario), Fingathing (Grand Central), One Self (Ninja Tune), Broke 'n' English (Estate Recordings), Plantinum Pied Pipers among many others.

At present, there are no regular hotpot shows, while Scruff & Trev bury their heads in their home studios, working on new material. Diners may visit the deep-freeze, where previous Samurai shows are archived and can be reheated for consumption at any time - simply by clicking here.
